This is a very ideal trek for both beginners and trained trekkers. Hampta Pass Trek is a heavenly place that exhibits exceptional beauty during the monsoon season. You get to experience both lush green and barren landscapes. In Kullu, you will see pine forests, apple trees, streams, and waterfalls, but as you cross it, the land becomes arid in brown and grey colors with barren footpaths and vertical rock walls. You will see the sparkling Chandratal Lake filled with clear blue water. Although trekking monsoon is a little tough it’s all worth it when you experience the best colors of nature and its beauty in this heavenly place. 

5. Beas Kund, Himachal Pradesh

• Difficulty level- Moderate

This place is not far from Manali and is also a popular destination for trekking. You will find many grand peaks here, like, Hanuman Tibba, Friendship peak, Shitidhar, and Seven Sisters alongside you. In monsoon season this trek is a little difficult due to the increase in the slippery of the trail but you would forget it all when you look at the majestic view from the top. Moreover, the fact that it is a short duration trek also makes it more demanding.

6. Mullayanagiri Trek, Karnataka

• Duration of the trek- 2 days

• Altitude- 4,304 ft

• Difficulty level- Moderate

This is considered an amazing trek in the Western Ghats. You will discover the highest peak of Karnataka in Chikmagalur during this trek. Birds will keep you company, you will make your way through the zigzag, flower-bed trail. Keep an eye for different Nandi idols on your way. It is also the highest peak in Karnataka, in monsoon season, one would experience heavy winds, cloudy skies and so much more.
